An integrated flood is one power, one failure domain, one spare. A modular flood is a stack. You buy the wattage the first season needs, add modules when the show grows, and pull a single module when one fails. The rest of the head stays in the show.
Where the money actually moves
The purchase price of a sealed one-piece flood can look lower on a spreadsheet that stops at delivery. The modular body spends its advantage later: a 1600 W 496TG is eight modules, and losing one of them is not a dark mast. Spares are modules, not complete fixtures, and the bracket, glass and aiming stay put.
Integrated still wins when the power is fixed forever and the crew will never be on that pole again. The 5763TG and the PGTG are built that way, driver inside, one housing. Use them for a known, stable position. Use 496TG, 296TG or 35TG when the wattage might change or the show cannot stop for a depot repair.
A five-year view
A 5-year warranty is available on the modular blacklights. Pair that with a module spare on site, not a full flood in a warehouse. For OEM programs we can kit the spare count to the number of masts.
